Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CIVE Learning platform, including our website, courses, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or have parental consent if younger) and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

  1. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  3. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful, non-commercial, personal educational purposes.

Prohibited Conduct

  1. Copying, reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works of course content without permission
  2. Sharing account credentials with others
  3. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  4. Uploading viruses, malware, or harmful code
  5. Harassing, threatening, or impersonating others
  6. Scraping or systematically collecting data from the platform

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service (videos, text, graphics, interactive tools, certificates) is owned by CIVE Learning or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without express written permission, except as allowed for personal, non-commercial study purposes.

5. Certificates and Achievements

Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of all required activities and assessments. Certificates are digital and for personal use only. Misrepresentation of certificate status may result in account termination.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CIVE Learning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dodoma, Tanzania.
